Front Left Spindle Nuts install after the thrust plate and are used with a lock plate in between the two. The left spindle nuts are left hand threaded, hold the drum to the spindle, are sold individually, and two are needed per VW. The spindle nut fits 1955 through 1963 Type 2 Bus models.
