Lowered shocks for Type 1 models with link pin front end come painted bright white and are sold individually. This oil-filled shock is 9 3/4″ long in the fully closed position and 14 5/8″ at full open. The shock fits 1954 to 1965 Beetle and 1956 to 1965 Karmann Ghia models (with link pin front end). Lowered shocks provide a different range of travel than stock shocks, which helps to eliminate bottoming out.
