Shift Rod Coupler, Early Each

Shift rod coupler is located at the connection of the shift rod to the transmission under the panel beneath the rear seat in Beetles, Ghias and Type 3s. In Type 2 Bus models the shift coupler is accessed under the vehicle at the front of the transmission. The stock replacement shift coupler fits 1954-1964 Beetles, 1956-1964 Karmann Ghias, 1950-1967 Type 2 Bus Models and 1962-1963 Type 3s.
