Oil Pressure Switch, For Stock Indicator Light

The VW Oil Pressure Switch operates the oil pressure indicator bulb on the speedometer. The switch is 10×1.0mm threaded and operates at roughly 3 PSI. Meaning that if the oil pressure indicator light is on, your engine has less than 3 PSI of oil pressure at the switch. The oil pressure switch fits 1954 through 1979 Beetles, 1956 through 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1955 through 1979 Type 2 Bus models, 1962 through 1973 Type 3s, 1973 through 1974 Things and 1980 through 1983 Vanagons. The switch operates on 6 and 12 volt systems.
